A 50 mm vibrating wire crack meter for measuring opening and closing of cracks and joints in masonry, concrete and rock.

Overview
A vibrating wire in series with a tension spring converts movement across the crack into a change in frequency. Frequency output is unaffected by cable length, so readings stay stable over long cables and long periods.
The gauge mounts across the crack on two groutable anchors with ball joints, and is read by the DP-LG3-VW8 Vibrating Wire Data Logger 8 Channel.
